What is this research about?

Multiple treatment options are available to transgender individuals in treatment of gender dysphoria. The gender care trajectory tends to be a long, complicated, and very personal process. This difficulty is reflected in practice, where you and your physician have to come to an agreement with regard to each treatment decision. Therefore, it is crucial to clarify your own preferences concerning the outcomes of each gender treatment procedure.

Over the last five years, research was conducted to tailor a decisional support tool to directly to the needs of the community. The GenderAid was created as a result. Currently, we are actively evaluating the GenderAid by including your experiences with the GenderAid and informative needs to improve this decision aid.
